Musicians are the
latest and greatest subjects we have been
working with and has been quite a steady
business since meeting and photographing a
musician by the name of Pat Karwan. Soon after
taking a few pictures of him performing, he
asked us to do the photography for his latest CD
project, Wood, Flesh & Steel.
The session was a first
for me to work with a musician and understand
what he wanted. His guitar was the co-star and
we wanted to focus on the 3 elements of the
title, Wood-the guitar, Flesh-his fingers and
Steel-the strings.
Another focus on
horses. The capturing of warm and sensitive
portraits of theses amazing creatures. I have an
uncanny ability to capture them in action and
stillness that my customers love. The customers
purchase my prints with the same enthusiasm and
care as I have in working with their horse or
dog whatever the subject and creating a really
cool photo. Additionally for sport, I ride as
well. It is exciting, fun and a challenge. It
also keeps me in great shape too. There is a
connection between hoses and humans. If you ever
fell down or are going through a difficult time,
take a ride to a horse barns and just walk
around, sit , relax, and watch.
Models are one of my
intrinsic interests. What the heck does this
mean? My ability and creative ideas are in
place. If the right model appeared, a new
formula for capturing the flow and imagination
of their desire to expose themselves to the
camera and photographer from the inside first.
Would be my motivating factor.
Pets, primarily dogs,
are another incredible area of focus. Again,
we have the patience and technical knowledge to
wait and capture those few moments when there is
a “look” to them. While my assistant and
customer are chasing, encouraging, cleaning up
after; I sit and help a bit with some direction, but
mainly wait. We have always come away with a
terrific variety of images for our customers. |
